Baltimore Architecture Foundation (BAF) in partnership with the Lord Baltimore Hotel LB Bakery & Bistro invites youth of all ages to participate in its Gingerbread Rowhome Build activity on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at The Center for Architecture and Design.
The rowhouse is synonymous with Baltimore city living and has been instrumental in making Baltimore a city of neighborhoods. With this in mind, BAF has developed a family-friendly activity to celebrate Baltimore architecture and the holiday season.
In partnership with the Lord Baltimore Hotel's LB Bistro & Bakery, BAF is designing and assembling kits that contain all the pieces necessary to build and decorate a two-story rowhome - gingerbread pieces for the walls and roof, royal icing to hold the pieces together, and candy decorations to add festive flair.
Each Gingerbread Build Activity ticket includes one Gingerbread Rowhome Kit. The in-person experience also includes structural assistance from an architect and design assistance from Chef Beth, an expert in large-scale gingerbread structures and installations! Bonus - no mess in your kitchen!
